Petstock transforms In-store Experience with Awayco's Mobile POS

Petstock is a leading pet specialty retailer with locations across Australia and New Zealand, is known for delivering a seamless, high-touch customer experience across pet supplies, grooming, and veterinary services. To maintain fast, personalised service across the floor—and minimise long queues at checkout—Petstock partnered with Awayco to develop and deploy its all-in-one Mobile POS system across key stores.

As more customers visited Petstock stores for grooming, DIY dog washes, and retail purchases, traditional fixed checkout points quickly became a bottleneck—especially during weekends and peak hours.Staff were juggling separate barcode scanners and EFTPOS terminals to manage sales, often dealing with bigger queues. This not only slowed transactions but disrupted the customer experience, particularly in the pet product aisles where quick checkouts were essential.
